Taylor Redd

Instructor, FIT4MOM® Chapel Hill

An Atlanta native, Taylor grew up playing sports and always loved being a part of a team. After graduating from high school, she went to Williams College where she majored in Spanish and Psychology and dove on the women’s swim and dive team. She then went to graduate school at Smith College to teach middle and high school Spanish.

After 5 Massachusetts winters, Taylor moved a little closer to home to Charlottesville, VA where she taught middle school Spanish and met her husband, Walker. She also coached diving and softball for the middle and high school teams. They lived in Charlottesville for 6 years while Walker finished medical school. For his residency, they moved back up to Boston and enjoyed countless Red Sox games, concerts, and Boston Common walks before the pandemic. Taylor taught Spanish to middle and high school girls on the South Shore and worked and taught at a Pure Barre studio in Brookline. They had their son, Davis, in February, 2021.

Since moving to Chapel Hill in the summer of 2021 for Walker’s GI fellowship at UNC, Taylor feels so lucky to have found a very special community with the moms and children at Stroller Strides. She has always sought out new classes and forms of exercise that are both fun and challenging, and Stroller Strides strikes the perfect balance. Taylor loves the camaraderie that the class brings for both the mamas and children, all while getting a great workout. Taylor is so excited to join the team!
