1. How did you first come to join Fit4Mom? I joined Fit4Mom in 2018. I did a Body Well Session and then started going to Run Club on Sundays and Tuesdays.
2. How long / what classes do you teach? I teach Body Ignite and I am a Run Club Coach. I've been a Run Club coach since 2020 and I've been a Body Ignite instructor since 2023.
3. What do you love the most about being part of the Fit4Mom Community? I mostly love the connections that I have made with other mamas.
4. What would you say to someone who is hesitant to check out our classes? I would say, "Hey, I get it." It took months of Erin Tilley and Erica Berry telling me about Fit4Mom and encouraging me to come check it out. I thought, I don't have small kids, and this is not something for me. I saw an advertisement for Body Well and I signed up for a session. I really enjoyed it and decided to check out some of the other programming. Run Club, Body Boost, and Body Ignite were perfect options for me. I realized that Fit4Mom was for women at all stages of motherhood and a way to get in physical movement.
5. Describe yourself in three words. Empathic, Giving, Thoughtful
6. Biggest "guilty pleasure"? A minibon from Cinnabon
7. I'm happiest when... I am traveling with my family.
8. One more interesting fact we don't know about you. I didn't learn the correct spelling of my middle name until I was a freshman in college. Back in the day, UNC used SS#s for student identification. I had to look at my social security card to work on recalling the number and realized my middle name was spelled "Leshawn" and not 'Lashawn".
