Meet Brianne, Our August Instructor of the Month

1. How did you first come to join Fit4Mom?

I joined FIT4MOM during 2020 when classes went virtual! A sweet mama donated a membership that allowed me to attend FIT4BABY. During the first year of COVID-19, it was the one thing of stability to meet on Zoom 3x a week and move while also build community in a time of social distancing!

2. How long have you been an instructor and what classes do you teach?

I became an instructor in 2021 to coach run club and teach stroller strides! In 2023, I started teaching Body Boost!

3. What do you love the most about being part of the Fit4Mom Community

I love that you can authentically show up no matter what and you’ll be welcomed with open arms. You’re able to take the class or run at whatever you need for the day and that’s how it was designed. Also, coffee after stroller strides is how I survive the fourth trimester. The community just gets it!

4. What would you say to someone who is hesitant to check out our classes

Your first class is free so what are you waiting for! there are no requirements, you are ENOUGH by being you and we’d love to meet you!

5. What's your favorite Chapel Hill/Carrboro restaurant/eatery and what's your favorite thing to get there?

Recently, I discovered the Ferrington Village Roost Pizza and it’s seriously DELICIOUS! I Love all the pizzas.

6. Would you prefer a relaxing vacation or an action-packed vacation?

I like a mix of both! Have some fun filled and lazy filled days!

7. I'm happiest when...I’m snuggling my babies after a long adventurous day outside or a run with my cat Chedda nearby :)

8. One more interesting fact we don't know about you.

I am faculty at UNC and support programs for individuals with disabilities! We’re launching a new program in collaboration with the UNC Wellness Center called Physical Activity and Community EmPOWERment (PACE) program for adults with and without disabilities! My love for F4M community definitely underlies my professional goals for creating inclusive communities for all!
