Owner & Instructor, FIT4MOM® Chapel Hill Nicole grew up in Pennsylvania and attended West Virginia University earning a bachelors degree in Computer Science/Communications minor then came to North Carolina for graduate school at Duke where she earned a PhD in Computational Biology & Bioinformatics. Throughout her life she played sports (soccer, basketball, track & field) and competed as a jumper at the collegiate level. After school she continued her active lifestyle as an avid hiker and runner while living on the East and West coasts and participating in virtual and gym classes. Her latest move was from Boston back to North Carolina with her husband in 2021. When she had her son Xavier, she was looking for ways to stay active with a baby and in her Google search came across Fit4Mom. She signed up and ended up taking a Stroller Strides class but after the previous owner announced that she was selling the Franchise. She loved the concept of Fit4Mom and as a business owner in real estate, this seemed like a great opportunity to incorporate her love of fitness with the chance to support women along their journey in motherhood alongside her own. Needless to say she did not pass up the chance to become part of Fit4Mom Chapel Hill!
