Angie Hill

Instructor, FIT4MOM Chapel Hill

Angie was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio. Growing up she was always active in dance, cheerleading and gymnastics. Following in the footsteps of her big brother, she found her love for soccer that lead her to playing year round, traveling to different states on the weekends for tournaments, and playing throughout high school. After graduating high school, Angie focused on fulfilling her dream of becoming a nurse and taking care of babies. In 2006, Angie graduated from Kettering College of Medical Arts and started working as an RN in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). A few years later, Angie met Dan. After 1 year of long distance dating, Dan got a job in Ohio and in 2011, they were married.

In 2013, Dan and Angie became certified to foster and adopt. In January 2014, they were blessed with their first foster placement, Makenna. 26 months later (15 months of that which reverted back to long distance “dating”), Makenna was adopted. Angie and Makenna were then able to reunite with Dan in March of 2016 in Raleigh, NC. After Angie took a job in the NICU at UNC, they found their home in Chapel Hill. Two weeks later they were surprised to find out about their soon to be second daughter, Alice. It was at this time that Angie started searching for connections that could support her through this unknown territory. That connection became FIT4MOM. Angie attended every Stroller Strides and Stroller Barre class she could through pregnancy and then quickly fell in love with Body Back after. Angie is so excited to be a part of the FIT4MOM team and being the same connection for others that she so desperately needed.

Angie and her family love being active and outdoors together, but she won’t ever turn down a Mom’s Morning or Night Out either!

Certifications: FIT4MOM 360 and Body Back Instructor; American Red Cross First Aid; Adult, Child & Infant CPR
