Adult and Pediatric First Aid / CPR / AED Certification
The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age). This course meets OSHA/workplace requirements. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years. Please dress comfortably as skills are performed on the floor. Each course is 6 hours and limited to 8 participants. Cost is $100.

Babysitting and Child Care Training Certification
The American Red Cross is the nation's leader in babysitting classes and child care training – and will prepare you to become one of the most capable, trusted and in-demand sitters in your neighborhood. This course provides youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business; keep themselves and others safe; help children behave; and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. The recommended age for this course if 11-15 years old. This course is 6 hours, and limited to 8 participants.
